This course is designed to integrate academic learning with real-world business experience through a 3-month internship. You will develop practical skills, understand workplace dynamics, and learn to communicate your experiences professionally. The course emphasises reflective practice, professional reporting, and personal and career development.

Agile constitutes a set of principles and practices designed to assist teams in producing better products, faster. It places emphasis on communication, collaboration, and accountability within software development. In our workshops, you will be taught how to apply Agile principles to any business organisation. You will learn to build effective cross-functional teams, prioritise work effectively, and manage projects without losing sight of what matters most: results!

Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive the Certification ICP – MKG from ICAgile.

With the Capstone Project, you’re not just learning how to solve problems and think critically. You’re also learning how to apply those skills in real-world settings. The capstone project is a multi-faceted assignment that replaces the Master’s thesis and serves as a culminating academic and intellectual experience. As part of your assessment, you will be encouraged to think critically, solve challenging problems, and develop skills to prepare you for contemporary business.

With elective modules, you can choose from over 40 courses that will help you learn new skills—whether that’s in a field related to your specialisation or not. You’ll have the flexibility to tailor your education to what’s most relevant for your career.

The Impact Lab modules empower you with practical skills essential for your professional journey. Through hands-on experiences, workshops and seminars, you will enhance expression, writing, design, creativity, and technological proficiency, including AI tools. Learning walks and field visits offer direct interaction with marketing industry professionals, providing insights into practices and trends. This approach not only deepens understanding but also fosters career skills like navigating professional environments and building connections, ensuring you are well-prepared for their chosen fields.

The Sustainability and Social Impact Module will inspire you to lead organisations in making a lasting social and environmental impact on a global scale. Through a project-based approach and field visits, you will learn how to lead sustainability projects and connect with organisations and leaders in Barcelona committed to CSR programs.

In these workshops, you have the opportunity to apply their knowledge through project-based learning, collaborating on initiatives with ESEI and other organisations such as Tree Nation and BCorp to promote more sustainable businesses.

Our Career Coaching sessions prepare you for your next career progression in the world of Sports. With the guidance of our coaches, you will refine your personal brand to distinguish yourself in the competitive job market. Additionally, you will receive advice on addressing common career hurdles and crafting a personal roadmap to elevate your career to the next level.

The thesis final project serves as a culmination of learned skills and an opportunity to explore an area relevant to future careers in Sports. It emphasises critical thinking, negotiation, planning, implementation, social skills, presentation skills, finance and budgeting, creativity, research, and data analysis.

You can choose from options including an academic research paper contributing to the literature, a business plan aimed at attracting investment, or a marketing plan. The project must demonstrate understanding of current issues faced by the company and industry, emerging trends, technology’s impact, and competitor behaviour.

The project must be between 6,000 to 10,000 words.

Our Master in Marketing and Communication programme is a one-year programme, which is run over two academic semesters: fall semester (October to February) and spring semester (February to June). You can choose to start the programme either in the Fall or Spring.

"Our Master is run on weekdays in the evenings from 6pm to 9pm. You will have classes 2-3 times per week, which allows you to work and study at the same time.
Additionally, if you are a non-EU student who requires a student visa to study in Spain, our Marketing and Communication programme meets the student visa requirements of full time study in Spain. "

Students must attend at least 5 out of 7 sessions for each module. They cannot miss more than 2 classes for any reason. Absence will only be justified for observance of religious holidays. All Medical appointments, family commitments, etc. Must fall within the allowed absence.

Each module within our Marketing and Communication programme has 4 assessment components: a group submission (40%), an individual submission (20%) and a formal oral presentation (20%) for your module project, as well as a participation grade (20%) based on your participation during classes.

Yes! Within your classes, you will have guest speakers in your discipline, and some of your course projects will happen in collaboration with a real business. Additionally ESEI runs guest speaker sessions throughout the year, some of which will focus specifically on Marketing and Communication, and all of which will provide relevant insights for you. Furthermore, you will have visits open throughout the year to different local companies giving you insight into the Barcelona business landscape.

If you need proof of your degree completion for work or other reasons, we can provide a signed letter to use as proof until you receive your actual diploma. If you are eligible for the UCAM degree, it will arrive up to 12 months after completing the programme requirements.
