Community festival. The International Superblocks Conference will close this Saturday with a celebration that includes music, workshops, games for the kids, and all sorts of entertainment.
The Long Live the Superblock festival will bring the International Superblock conference due to take place from 22 to 25 March to an end, and invite reflection on the creation of healthier city models.
There will be two festivals taking place at the same time in two different spaces in the Eixample district’s new green hubs:
- One in C. Rocafort, between C. Aragó and C. Diputació,
- and the other in C. Consell de Cent, between C. Enric Granados and Rambla de Catalunya.
A range of activities will be taking place at these locations between 10 am and 7 pm, to encourage local residents to start making these new public spaces their own: children’s workshops, games played using recycled materials, a chocolate fest and a stage with music, dance, magic shows, improvisation and lots of fun.
