Teachers get together – looking for ways to improve your educational experience

At ESEI, community is important and professors are a huge part of our community.

The ESEI Faculty get together is a chance for our faculty of international industry experts to work on creating the best student experience for our international students.

The main goal is to share ideas and experiences across various industries and create a learning environment where ESEI students can learn to prepare to be team players and use our project-based learning methodology to solve real business challenges.

In this workshop with Dr. Steve Mallon, the tutor for our Masters of Business Management programme and Academic Leadership and Diversity Consultant, we discussed the advantages of group work for students.

Grouping students in different ways can have a variety of benefits, including high student engagement and satisfaction with the course material.

A second aspect discussed in the training was active learning approaches. All our professors have unique session plans and objectives and they use different methodologies to deliver classes that apply project-based learning.

We value the continuous training and development of our faculty, as we know it’s an essential element for our students’ wellbeing and success throughout their studies, as well as career development after graduation.
