ESEI Business School’s Commitment to Sustainability
At ESEI Business School, we are committed to promoting sustainable practices and reducing our carbon footprint. We are proud to be at the forefront of the sustainability movement in Barcelona and are dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.
Campus Practices: Recycling Program and Reduction of Single-Use Plastics
One of the keyways we are promoting sustainability is through our recycling program. We have implemented a campus-wide recycling program, providing our students and faculty members with adequate bins to sort out their waste. By doing so, we are reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfills, and promoting a circular economy where materials are reused instead of being discarded.
In addition to our recycling program, we have replaced disposable cups with reusable cups made from recycled plastic. We also encourage our students to bring their own containers to reduce waste. By doing so, we are reducing the number of single-use plastics that end up in landfills and oceans.
Curriculum: Pioneering Sustainable Education
But our commitment to sustainability goes beyond our campus practices. We also integrate sustainability into our curriculum, offering courses on sustainable business practices. Through these courses, our students learn about the social, environmental, and economic impacts of business practices and gain the knowledge and skills they need to become responsible and sustainable business leaders. By doing so, we are preparing our students to make a positive impact on the world through their future careers.
Leading by Example and Preparing Sustainable Business Leaders
At ESEI Business School, we are proud to be setting an example for other educational institutions to follow in promoting sustainability. By implementing a recycling program, replacing disposable cups with reusable ones, integrating sustainability into our curriculum, and partnering with sustainability organizations, we are taking concrete steps to reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices. By doing so, we are not only contributing to a more sustainable future, but also preparing our students to become responsible and sustainable business leaders.
