As the Operations & Community Manager at ESEI, I am committed to ensuring that students, faculty, and staff experience a seamless, supportive, and enriching environment throughout their academic journey. My role involves overseeing a wide range of operational tasks, providing hands-on support to students and faculty, managing digital platforms, and fostering a strong sense of community within the ESEI network. By integrating feedback and maintaining quality control, I aim to continuously improve our processes and create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Key Responsibilities of Mazen Draz as Operations & Community Manager:

  • Student & Faculty Support:
    I serve as the primary point of contact for students and professors, ensuring that all parties have the support and resources they need. Whether answering queries, resolving issues, or guiding individuals through academic processes, my focus is on providing clear communication and efficient solutions to foster a positive and engaging experience for both students and faculty members.

  • Digital Operations Management:
    Managing ESEI’s digital platforms is a key part of my role. I work closely with different teams to oversee and optimize the use of software tools that improve communication, scheduling, content delivery, and overall operational efficiency. From managing content on Classlife to supporting the CRM platform, my goal is to streamline all digital processes to ensure that they serve both students and staff in the most effective way possible.

  • Collaborative Department Support:
    As part of the broader ESEI team, I collaborate closely with both the academic and marketing departments. I help improve operational workflows, streamline processes, and ensure that all departments are aligned with the institution’s goals. Whether it’s coordinating academic schedules, assisting in marketing campaigns, or supporting student recruitment, my role is to ensure smooth collaboration and successful outcomes.

  • Community Engagement & Building:
    Creating a welcoming and inclusive community is one of the most important aspects of my role. I design and implement community-building initiatives that connect students, faculty, and staff. By organizing events, student activities, and networking opportunities, I strive to make ESEI a place where students feel supported both academically and socially. This also involves promoting an open dialogue and ensuring that every member feels valued and heard.

  • Public Relations & Representation:
    I represent ESEI at various events, conferences, and meetings, acting as a public relations liaison. This role helps build relationships with external stakeholders, partners, and the wider academic community. By nurturing strong connections and communicating ESEI’s mission and values effectively, I contribute to the institution’s growth and reputation.

  • Feedback Gathering & Quality Control:
    An essential part of my responsibilities is gathering feedback from students, faculty, and staff to assess the effectiveness of our services and identify areas for improvement. I conduct surveys, interviews, and discussions to ensure that all voices are heard. Using this feedback, I implement quality control measures to maintain high standards across all areas of our operations. By focusing on continuous improvement, I ensure that ESEI delivers an exceptional experience to all its stakeholders.

Background & Expertise:

With a background in operations management, digital support, and student engagement, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities of international academic environments. My experience has allowed me to become proficient in managing digital platforms, coordinating interdepartmental collaboration, and fostering a sense of community.

I am passionate about supporting students and faculty, and I take pride in creating an environment where everyone feels empowered to succeed. By combining my expertise that includes operations, Marketing, Sports, Media Production and Community and Public Relations engagement, with speaking 4 languages. I enjoy creating a positive, supportive & entrepreneurial atmosphere where students can thrive both academically and personally.
