Professional Background

Currently serving as CTO in an early stage startup called Tinkery.ai, where he continues to advise companies on how to scale data systems, design intelligent products, and lead through innovation. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at organizations such as Aplazo, Adevinta, and Covalto. At Aplazo, he built the first data engineering team from the ground up, leading the development of a comprehensive data strategy and transitioning the company from batch to real-time data processing. At Adevinta, Jorge led a multinational machine learning initiative, integrating AI platforms across five European markets and playing a key role in harmonizing event schemas following the eBay acquisition. At Covalto, he successfully centralized the company’s data infrastructure and implemented a lambda architecture to support scalable, real-time analytics.
