This module focuses on what it takes to write a clear, comprehensive, feasible and persuasive business plan. The business plan serves as the roadmap to an entrepreneurial journey and is crucial to the planning and implementation process of setting up a new business. You will understand what is required from the business plan with regards to its various sections, and will be shown its value both in terms of how it aids the internal development process of a business idea and how it functions as an effective tool for the external communication of that idea. When being used for external communication of the business idea, you will consider how the business plan should be adapted according to different audiences and objectives.
● Demonstrate knowledge of what a complete, feasible and persuasive business plan consists of.
● Create and develop the business plan of a hypothetical business ensuring all sections have been completed fully and in easy-to-understand terms.
● Apply understanding of how to adapt a business plan according to different audiences through the creation of more than one version.

ESEI uses the project-based learning and assessment methodology across all modules taught in our master programs. This means that you will work together in groups to develop projects that require creativity, team work, and problem-solving skills.
The main benefit of Project-Based Learning is that by the time you graduate, you will essentially have a portfolio of work to show which will be directly applicable to what you’ll be doing as a future employee or business owner.
It’s up to the teacher to decide on the format of the project – it can be a case study, a written report, a video, a role-playing activity, a podcast, or any other kind of media that gets your point across. The teachers create the project briefs and oversee the progress that teams are making week after week with regular check-in points.
