Introducing exciting new courses at ESEI
Are you looking for a new opportunity to study? Perhaps you’d like a career change? Or maybe you’re already working but would like to upskill? We’re here to help!
We have several exciting new courses on offer. Whether you’re starting out with a Bachelor’s degree, looking for postgraduate specialisation, or are a seasoned professional wanting to gain some new skills – we’ve got it covered!
In this post, we’re going to introduce you to the new courses at ESEI, but also we’ll show you what current courses we have on offer.
Developments to our Bachelor’s degree
We have made some small changes to our three-year Bachelor’s degree in Business. As before, the first two years —the L4 and L5 Diplomas in Business—are provided on-campus in Barcelona and awarded by ESEI.
However, students can now choose between two options for their third year – the L6 top-up.
We offer a top-up year in Business Studies, which is delivered online by one of our UK university partners. Students may choose between Anglia Ruskin University or the University of Hertfordshire. Upon completion of the year, they will receive a valid UK degree, which is recognised and accepted by employers and institutions around the world.
Our new second option will be available this coming academic year. We are now offering the opportunity for students to major in a specialised business area. If they choose this path, they will receive the full Bachelor’s degree award from ESEI upon completion of the final year.
They will be able to choose from the following majors:
- Sustainable Business and Innovation
This major will cover areas, including environmentally sustainable business practices, change management and innovation. You will also explore social and economic sustainability, and design-thinking. - Digital Marketing and Transformation
Students will specialise in digital marketing tools, technologies and trends, social media marketing, and inbound marketing. The degree also covers digital transformation and data-driven business, among other areas. - Sports Management
This major will look at subjects such as the ecosystem of sports and 21st century trends. It covers entrepreneurial sports management, sports marketing and media and sustainability, ethics and social responsibility in sports.
In each case, the degree is taught full-time with afternoon classes, 100% in English and worth 180 ECTS credits. It is available both on-campus and online.
You will soon find out more about these degree options.
The new and improved International MBA
Our one-year International MBA programme in Business Management lays the foundations for a successful career in business. It teaches the central principles of company organisation and administration, and covers a range of economic, financial and legal concepts.
The programme offers students the chance to gain important skills, put into practice real-life projects and network with our professional teachers and alumni.
New to this coming academic year, students can choose to specialise in a subject area for their MBA:
- Digital marketing
- Business management
- Marketing and communication
- International relations and international business
- Tourism and hospitality management
(Read more about our students’ experiences of studying business management and sports management with us.)
Each course includes 10 taught modules, which students must complete within one year. On top of this, the MBA will also provide students with:
- A significant group-based capstone project developed across the duration of the programme;
- Vital training in two key areas of 21st century business: the Agile methodology and Sustainable Business;
- One-to-one coaching from a qualified in-house coach, a process that aims to help students figure out what the next step in their career might be;
- The option to take elective modules from other specialities if students wish to expand their knowledge.
The course is taught full-time with afternoon classes, 100% in English and worth 90 ECTS credits. It is available both on-campus and online.

If you prefer presential classes, we will teach the courses in one of our classrooms or ESEI’s grounds, and can offer team-building activities.
Other Courses and Programmes at ESEI
Don’t forget, we have a variety of courses on offer at ESEI. If those above aren’t what you’re looking for, then here are a few of our other programmes:
ESEI’s Masters programmes
We offer a number of Masters programmes spanning various topics. These are the same as the specialisations for our International MBA. Yet, in this case, students only complete the 10 taught modules.
- Sports management
- Digital marketing
- Digital entrepreneurship
- Business management
- Marketing and communication
- International relations and international business
- Tourism and hospitality management
All Masters are taught by professors who are professionals in the field. They each bring their particular experiences and knowledge of the subject area to the classroom. The courses offer a mix of theoretical information and project-based learning. This is crucial for students as it gives them the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice and develop first hand experience.
Each programme takes one year to complete, is taught 100% in English, worth 60 ECTS and offered on-campus or online. Classes run during the evenings from 6.30-9.30pm, meaning that students can easily fit their studies around work or other commitments.
Short courses
Our short courses offer a great way for professionals to acquire new skills or enhance existing ones, without committing to a full Masters programme.
The short courses follow the same subject areas as our Masters, each of which consists of 10 modules, and requires 3 hours of study per week for 6 weeks. The short courses offer you the opportunity to choose individual modules to study.
For example, if you’re interested in Digital Marketing, you could choose any of the following 10 modules to study as a short course.
Social Media Marketing | CRM and Data |
Analytics | Design and User Experience |
SEO | E-Commerce |
Search Engine Marketing | Inbound Marketing |
Mobile Marketing | Brand Storytelling Through Content |
Our short courses can be taken on-campus or online. Head to our website to find out more about these courses.
