ESEI Students visit N26: The Future of Banking

ESEI students had the opportunity to gain a unique and valuable learning experience by visiting N26, a German fintech startup, in Barcelona. The digital company is a retail bank that offers mobile banking and payment services through a user-friendly app, making it the first digital challenger bank to offer customers a complete mobile experience from opening an account to managing day-to-day banking.

During the visit, students learned about the company’s history and how it was founded, as well as what sets it apart from traditional banks. They were also given a tour of the office and had the opportunity to talk with representatives about the company’s working environment, current projects, and future plans and goals.

Digital Banking has revolutionized the traditional banking system by offering customers a more convenient and accessible way to manage their finances. Some of the key benefits of digital banking include:

  1. 24/7 availability: Customers can access their bank accounts and perform transactions from anywhere, at any time, through their mobile devices or computers
  2. Enhanced security: Digital banks use advanced security measures, such as encryption and two-factor authentication, to protect the customer’s information and transactions
  3. Improved User Experience: Digital banking applications and websites are designed especially for the user, making the user journey and experience easy and enjoyable.

Global outlook and opportunities at N26

One of the most exciting aspects of the visit was the opportunity for students to explore potential internships or job opportunities. This is especially valuable for students pursuing a career in international business, as global experiences are essential for success in this field.
