ESEI Student Wins Prestigious Scholarship
Marie-Deborah, one of our second year students, has been awarded a full scholarship by the NCC Education Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship is for the BA (Hons) Business Administration top-up degree awarded by The University of Worcester; one of the UK´s top universities! The Scholarship will commence in September 2016 and Marie-Deborah will be due to complete the programme in June 2017.
Marie-Deborah studied the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business with us at ESEI International Business School in 2015/16 and she submitted an outstanding business project for the scholarship, outlining her own business plan for solar power generators in Ghana.
Mark Richardson, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic Portfolio) & Head of Worcester Business School, University of Worcester told us that:
“We are delighted to be able to welcome scholarship students from around the world onto our BA (Hons) Business Administration degree in September. Dr Mark Crosher, Programme Manager added:
“It really was an exceptional business plan and we hope that Marie-Deborah continues to develop this business plan during her studies this year and that she manages to make this business a reality in the future as I am confident she will make it a great success”.
Marie-Deborah Atundu Kalume commented:
“I am honored to receive the scholarship for the BA (Hons) Business Administration Top-up degree. This scholarship will help to ease my parents’ financial burden and bring me a step closer to fulfilling my ambition.
My ambition is to expand my parents’ farm across the country and to be in the United Nations administration sector, or to be a UN ambassador. I hope that I can apply the knowledge and experience that I have gained from the BA (Hons) Business Administration Top-up degree to prepare me well for my future career path.
I am incredibly grateful to NCC Education for giving me this opportunity and I hope that others will be inspired by my achievements and work hard to achieve their goals”.
