This October, ESEI Business School proudly welcomed a diverse group of Bachelor’s and Master’s students representing more than 50 nationalities from across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. The Fall 2025 Induction Week marked not only the start of a new academic year but also the opening of ESEI’s brand new campus, a modern and inspiring space designed to encourage collaboration, innovation and growth.
Reflecting ESEI’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, this year’s student body is made up of 54% female and 46% male students, with an average age of 25. Around 79% of students are enrolled in Master’s programmes and 21% in Bachelor’s programmes, bringing together different perspectives and experiences and creating a strong learning community.
Building Skills and Connections from Day One
The week began with a soft skills workshop led by ESEI Director Carlota Estera. Students were encouraged to explore their values, ambitions and unique strengths as future leaders. The interactive session focused on communication, teamwork and adaptability, essential qualities for success inside and outside the classroom.
To help students get to know one another, a Human Bingo activity brought energy and engagement to the room. It offered an enjoyable way for Bachelor’s and Master’s students to start building friendships from the very first day.
Getting to Know ESEI Life
Following the activities, students attended an information session introducing the ESEI app, academic programmes and the Student Council. The session offered practical guidance on making the most of student life, connecting with the community and navigating studies effectively.
The day concluded with a guided tour of Barcelona, led by an ESEI alumnus who shared local insights and favourite spots around the city. It was an opportunity to explore the city while spending relaxed time with classmates.
A Celebration of Culture and Community
The week ended with one of ESEI’s most beloved traditions, the Melting Pot Party. Students brought dishes and drinks from their home countries to share, creating a cultural feast that celebrated ESEI’s international community.
A highlight of the evening was a friendly competition for the best dish, which was won by a student from Colombia who impressed everyone with freshly made arepas. The event showcased the diversity and inclusiveness of the ESEI community and offered an opportunity for shared experiences.
Looking Ahead
The Fall 2025 Induction Week provided a meaningful start to a new academic year filled with opportunities to learn, grow and connect. With a new campus, a global student body and a shared commitment to academic excellence, students are well prepared to engage fully in their ESEI journey.
