When our colleague Monica Evason from Project Faro approached us with a suggestion to create the ESEI experience day, we knew immediately it was a good idea.
She told us that many students she was working with in high schools wanted to study business but really didn´t have a clear idea of what marketing actually was, and also were not sure how it would actually be to study business at this level. It´s an important decision for a person to make, and so we created the ESEI experience day.
Students from the British School, Montserrat and St Pauls in Barcelona, all came to ESEI on Saturday 12th November to take part. We began in the morning with two electives: public speaking and marketing. Students chose one and attended a two hour interactive workshop on their chosen field, and then got together in our beautiful garden for an Argentinian Barbecue!
Well fed and relaxed, they all then attended a final workshop by The Passion Generation on how to make life decisions based on the thing that really motivates you: your underlying passion.
Armed with experience of a real business school class, as well as tools and tips on how to make the right choices in the next step they take, we hope they enjoyed the day as much as we did!
