Road to a Doctorate in Business Management
Embarking on a master’s programme is an exciting and transformative experience. For me, the decision to pursue my studies at ESEI International Business School was undoubtedly one of the best choices I have made. The curriculum, international networking opportunities, and exceptional faculty members at ESEI have played a vital role in shaping my academic and professional journey.
In this blog, I will share my personal experiences and the invaluable lessons I gained from my time at ESEI.
A Diverse Learning Environment
ESEI International Business School offers a range of master’s programmes that cater to a diverse set of interests. From International Business to International MBA, the school provides students with an opportunity to explore their passion and gain in-depth knowledge in their chosen field. The curriculum is designed to equip students with a global perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of today’s business landscape and to improve the soft and hard skills for the work environment.
One of the aspects that truly made my time at ESEI memorable was the international networking opportunities. The school attracts students from all over the world, fostering a culturally diverse community. This environment not only broadened my horizons but also resulted in lasting friendships. Engaging with classmates from various backgrounds enriched my learning experience and provided me with a global network of professionals.
Additionally, participating in the social leadership public speaking project at Escola Frederic Mistral allowed me to develop invaluable skills in public speaking and leadership. This hands-on experience challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and develop the confidence necessary for success in the professional world.
Influential Professors and Supportive Staff
ESEI boasts a remarkable faculty, and one professor who left a lasting impact on me was Professor Fernando Del Pozo. His expertise in international relations and his emphasis on the value of networking provided me with invaluable insights into the field. Even after graduating, I had the privilege of interning at his company, INEA Corporations, where I gained practical experience in expanding business opportunities.
Building on Academic Foundations
Following my master’s program at ESEI, I decided to pursue a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a focus on Strategic Leadership at Westcliff University. The strong academic foundations I developed at ESEI prepared me well for this next step. The knowledge and skills I acquired during my International Relations and International Business courses have proven invaluable in my current role as a Course Developer at McGraw Hill, where I develop course content in subjects such as Management, Marketing, and Accounting.
Recommendation For Future Students
Based on my experiences, I wholeheartedly recommend ESEI International Business School to prospective students. The school offers diverse master’s programmes, providing students with a wealth of options to pursue their interests. The international networking opportunities enable students to connect with like-minded individuals from around the world, fostering valuable relationships.
The faculty members, with their international exposure and academic experience, offer a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in their chosen fields. Moreover, the easy admissions process for international students and the vibrant city of Barcelona contribute to a truly enriching and culturally immersive educational experience.
