Connecting talent and opportunity at the ESEI Career Fair
We were pleased to host ESEI’s regular jobs fair once again this October. On a bright and sunny morning in the garden, our students got to meet representatives from a number of important local and international businesses.
During the event students took part in friendly chats and informal interviews to arrange real-world work experience through our internship programme.
The internships run from three to six months and many of our students take on roles that relate well to their interests and fields of study.
Outstanding students often go on to full-time employment with their host companies afterwards, but most importantly, all learn a lot and come away with new skills, experiences, and connections.
What our students thought
Sam Needlman from Maryland, USA.
Sam is studying International Relations and International Business.
“The fair was very helpful, I found the companies here to be forward-thinking and just want I was hoping for. The mix of established companies and startups was great and really provided a great balance. I came to hopefully, get an internship and with luck I will land one with one of these companies.”
Amr Mahmoud from Egypt
Amr is studying International Relations and International Business.
“I’m here to find an internship so I can get some experience working in another culture, as it’s very different from Egypt. Ideally I’d like to find work in the banking and finance sector, but I’d also be be happy with a customer service role.”
Manjuladevi Ravikumar from Chennai, India
Manjuladevi is studying Tourism and Hospitality Management.
“I’m just finishing my masters in Tourism and Hospitality Management and I’m looking for an internship in Barcelona or France to get some real work experience and improve my CV. It’s great to have this opportunity.”
